NAWAWI TAKFIR
*An Nawawi Made Takfir upon the Prophets and the Muslims he say in Rawdat at-Talibin:*
*".... Or if he confirmes regarding him (Allāh) the connection (with the creation) or separation, then he would be a Kafir"*
[Rawdat at-Talibin 10/64]📚
It's Ijma that Allah is above his throne, above the Heavens, separated from his creation whoever say other is a Mushrik Jahmi Zindiq Kafir
*An-Nawawi endorsing Tawassul and Du'a to the Prophet (shirk)*
An-Nawawi said:
Translation: "(The pilgrim) should turn towards the face of the Messenger of Allah and make him a means (tawassul) for the sake of himself and also seek his intercession (shafa'at) towards reaching God. In this regard the best of sayings is the Hikayat of Imam al-Marwadi and Qadhi Abu at-Tayb and all my other companions also narrate it by considering it Hasan (مستحسنين له) the narration of Utbi (i.e. A Bedouin who visited the Prophet's grave and sat beside it said): Peace unto you O Messenger of Allah, I have heard that Allah has said: "Had they, when they had wronged themselves, come to you and asked Allah's forgiveness and the Messenger had asked forgiveness for them, they would certainly have found Allah Oft-Forgiving, Most-Merciful." (Surah an-Nisaa', 4:64). Therefore, I have come to you (The Messenger) for forgiveness of my sins and seeking your intercession with Allah." {an-Nawawi in Al-Majmu', Volume No. 8, Page No. 274}
And:
{تهذيب الأسماء واللغات, 414}
An-Nawawi writes the following in his biographical entry on the companion of the Prophet Uqba Ibn Amir (رضى الله عنه), who was among the Ashab as-Suffah, in his book Tahdhib al-asma wal-lughat: "He saw the opening (conquest) of Sham, and he had a message to be delivered to Umar bin al-Khattab (رضى الله عنه) on the opening of Damascus, he arrived in Madinah in 7 days, while he returned back to Sham in two and a half days by making supplication at the grave of the Prophet – صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ – and seeking intercession through him regarding the route to become closer."
And: An-Nawawi in the same book {Tahdhib al-asma wal-lughat} also makes mention of the grave of the Shafi'ee jurist Nasr bin Ibrahim al Maqdisi al-Zahid (d.490 AH) that:
"...And his grave is besides the grave of the companions Muawiyyah and Abu Dardaa, رضى الله عنهم , and the people frequently visit and make dua there, and that the Shuyukh say that supplications made there on Saturdays are answered."
